September 2010 teaching arrangements

We have several class changes occurring in September, with Mrs Hall on maternity leave and Mrs Clayton joining Singleton Primary School as Headteacher. We have a vacancy currently being advertised, which will be for a Year 1 teacher. As soon as the appointment has been made, we will update everyone (late June, early July). Miss Bradley is returning to Year 6, where she had a hugely successful year in 2008.

Below is the current staffing list for September 2010:

• Reception class: Mrs Bowden and Mrs wilson, with Mrs Dean and Mrs White
• Year 1: vacancy with Mrs Gorst
• Year 2: Mrs Brodrick (Infant team leader) with Miss Churms, Mrs Brady (am), Mrs Johnson (am) and Miss Plancke
• Year 3: Mrs Hogarth with Mrs Fletcher
• Year 4: Miss Holden with Mrs Heatley
• Year 5: Mrs Upton (Assistant headteacher) with Mrs Blundell
• Year 6: Miss Bradley with Mrs Boulton

In addition to the new teacher, we will also be welcoming Mr Charles into the Juniors and Mrs Pagen into the Infants, as Teaching Assistants. Mrs Blencore will be teaching classes in the first half of the week, the role Mrs Hall will take up when she returns from maternity leave in 2011.
