How Our School Works
We believe that children learn best when they are excited and engaged. We provide opportunities within our school for project/themed work which encompasses many areas of the curriculum. Learning is encouraged both in class and through the use of our outdoor environment. In the morning the children are taught in individual year groups. In the afternoon there are some mixed age classes. Each morning the children are taught by their class teacher and a dedicated support assistant. In the Infant Department a creative curriculum is run for three afternoons.
Each year in October an informal parents evening is held to meet with your child's new teacher. This allows you to see how your child has settled in their new class. It will also provide an overview of your child's year and how you can support your child.
